Midlake are from Denton and only 30 minutes away from Dallas, yet I’ve never seen them live. After their latest album, I might not ever see them. But, Bamnan and Silvercork and Trials of Van Occupanther are always good listens, and the following song is one of my favorites from Van Occupanther.
